Are you a Cerner Order Sets consultant with “Attend a Presidential Inauguration” on your bucket list?  If so, you’re in luck!  First Choice Professionals has an immediate need at a client hospital in the Washington DC / Baltimore area for a consultant with the following Cerner Order Set skills:

• Maintain Design Standards for Orders and Order Sets and help guide clinicians through the design process
• Review Change Controls for Design Decisions
• Design, build and validate Order Sets requiring build directly into Cerner – ex. convenience order sets for Peri-Op & ED
• Detail Catalog Review Responsibilities
• Document New Design Standards
• Review standards for consistency across departments and enhance documentation
• Participate in build audit process
• Work on cross domain standardization/optimization
• Communications for site updates
• Maintain orders settings:  Order Entry Formats, synonyms, OEF Flexing, Req routing, virtualization, dup checking, RN Review, MD Cosign, related results, clinical categories, orc text, reference text, orders code sets, code set filtering, frequency scoping
