Healthcare Devices Combined with Intelligent Remote Patient Monitoring from OMRON Healthcare

VitalSight is a new tool for remote patient monitoring (RPM) from OMRON, a company that offers a wide range of health devices for blood pressure, respiratory problems, and more.

RPM is the order of the day for health care. Monitoring, together with providing data-based guidelines for patient behavior, is a crucial component of telehealth and a key building block of value-based care, where an improvement in the patient’s condition is more important than the number of clinical visits.

Payers have been covering devices like the ones offered by OMRON for decades. VitalSight can be reimbursed under similar codes.

Brandon Haag, OMRON’s Director of Operations and Business Development, describes in this short video the operation of VitalSight and how it helps both the patient and their doctor treat hypertension. OMRON is working on adding more sources of data and medical conditions to this program.
