Payers Making the Most of Their Data with Limited Resources

During the AHIP Annual conference in Las Vegas, I had a chance to sit down with David Schweppe, Chief Analytics Officer at MedeAnalytics, to learn more about what he was hearing at the conference and how MedeAnalytics can help the payer community.  In the interview below, I asked Schweppe what he’s seen that he knows works for the AHIP payer end user.  Plus, I asked him about how payers can make SDoH and health equity data actionable.  Doing so has been a hot topic lately and no doubt was a major discussion at the conference.

Along with these insights, I also asked Schweppe what the key is to making the most of the limited resources (time and money) that are available to them.  While some would like to think that payers have deep pockets, they face plenty of resource constraints.

Another hot topic in the payer community has been AI and machine learning.  I asked Schweppe to share how MedeAnalytics is approaching these technologies and what benefits their customers get from it.  He also shared some of the things that make MedeAnalytics unique including the employer resources they provide through the payers.  Finally, we asked Schweppe to share advice on how people can get the most value out of their data.

If you want to learn more about the role of data and analytics in the payer community, you’ll enjoy this interview with David Schweppe from MedeAnalytics.
