Happy Friday to everyone! You know what that means…it’s time for another edition of Fun Friday where we share some cartoons, something to make you smile, laugh, or hopefully lighten your mood as you head into the weekend. We’ve got some good ones this week, so we’ll dive right into it.

This seemed particularly important with the Halloween theme. Plus, it’s just funny. Well, it’s funny as long as you’re not the CIO that’s getting kept up at night worrying about it. Any other good nerdy costumes like this that you’ve seen or heard about?
We are partnering with Press Ganey and JACHO to create a single umbrella organization to make sure that you never drink water while entering your patient's pain score on to EPIC every 15 minutes.

I’m not sure what it says that I needed to check and make sure this was a joke.
Fun fact: I enter the @NewYorker’s Caption Contest almost every week. Only a few people have ever seen my submissions (because they are so funny they may break you), but I am sharing this week’s because I need someone to appreciate my science joke. #mynewyorkercaption pic.twitter.com/XETtHN5FAr

This isn’t really health IT, but we’re happy to let Jen Horonjeff from Savvy Coop know we appreciate her science joke.
This is EXACTLY the kind of fun, good news story that healthcare marketers dream about. Love this tale of how Carson King held up a sign at a College Football game asking for beer money and ended up donating more than $11K to @UIchildrens #SHSMDbytes #HITMC pic.twitter.com/DYNvf1TOUN

This isn’t really a joke, but it seems like it probably started as a joke. And it’s pretty funny. Although, it seems the story turned even better. The final tally was Carson donating $3 million to the hospital. That’s a joke turned amazing. We need more of this in our lives.
Have a great weekend!
