How Do You Better Enable Your Remote Workforce? – Healthcare IT Today Podcast Episode 37

For the 37th episode of the Healthcare IT Podcast, we’re talking about how to better enable your Remote Workforce.  Plus, in a first for our podcast, we have a guest host, Susmit Pal, Healthcare Field Director at Dell Technologies.  It was great to have Susmit Pal join as guest host so he could share his first hand experiences making the move to a remote workforce.

In this episode, Susmit and I cover a lot of ground including a debate on if you can be as productive at home as you are in the office and what things might be more productive in the office.  Plus, we look at what technology, devices, and applications are needed to ensure that employees are as effectively remotely as they would be in the office.  Finally, we talk about how to approach your infrastructure to make sure you’re ready to manage changing demands and business continuity.

Here’s a quick preview of the areas we discuss in this episode:

  • Can You Be As Productive at Home As at Work?
  • Does the Device Make a Difference in at Home Work?
  • What Do You Need to Deliver Access to Applications Remotely?
  • How Do You Plan Your Infrastructure So It Can Scale to Changing Demands and Support Business Continuity?

Let’s also take a minute to thank the sponsor for this episode, Dell Technologies.  If your organization is finding the shift to remote work challenging, Dell Technologies can help.  The ability to fully support a remote workforce is essential to maintaining business continuity. Well over half of their global team works remotely, so they can offer you the know-how to implement your own flexible digital workplace.  Learn more about how Dell Technologies can help you at
