We’re excited to share the topic and questions for this week’s #HITsm chat happening Friday, 3/20 at Noon ET (9 AM PT). This week’s chat will be hosted by the CHIME Liaisons on the topic of “COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and Health IT”.
Probably comes as no surprise that this week’s chat is about COVID-19. No doubt it’s deeply embedded in everyone’s lives now and we’re all learning to live and adapt to this new world. We’ve been covering a lot of the developments of COVID-19 on Healthcare IT Today and we are excited to learn what the #HITsm community is seeing and doing to deal with the challenges we face.
I don’t think we need much more intro to this topic. However, I will say that health IT is going to play an important role as we battle against this virus. We look forward to getting together as an #HITsm community to share the things we’ve learned, spread innovations that you see working, and help each other deal with the changes we’re all dealing with. With that in mind, you’ll see that half of the chat is around practical COVID-19 resources and ideas. The 2nd half is around connecting and supporting each other as a community.
Join us for this week’s #HITsm chat where we’ll discuss COVID-19 and Health IT.
Topics for this week’s #HITsm Chat:
T1: What are the best solutions, workflows, processes, etc you’re seeing implemented by healthcare organizations to manage all the changes COVID-19 has brought?
T2: Which communications solutions are you seeing as most valuable to make sure that teams are communicating effectively and for communication with patients?
T3: What visualizations and data are you watching to track COVID-19 trends?
T4: How are you staying up to date with what’s happening with COVID-19? What sources have you found most valuable?
T5: What techniques are you using to manage the stress and anxiety associated with the pandemic?
Bonus: Share your favorite COVID-19 cartoon or your favorite gif, meme, cat pic, etc that brings a smile to your face.
