It’s Friday and that means it’s time to have a little fun. Although, ironically, this week’s Fun Friday came from what I think was probably a really serious question by J. Brian Byrd, MD, MS (@thebyrdlab):
If you had a billion dollars to throw at any US health-related problem, how would you spend it?
I'll start.
I would probably pay for counter-messaging to combat constant, highly successful Madison Avenue effort to induce over-eating and eating of low-quality foods.

Most of the answers to the question were serious and talked about some of the major health challenges we face. Although for a health IT person like me, this response took the cake:
I’d use it to install EPIC at a single hospital. https://t.co/rOn2IF5EXV

Funny and yes, a bit sad.
Don’t worry. The @EpicparodyEMR has offered much more:
What’s the term for the awkward 3 minutes you spend with your first patient waiting for EPIC to start?

Morgue cart!
The designer who thought of that got a promotion. https://t.co/df63Y31MlU
