Happy Labor Day!

It’s Labor Day here in the US and so that means many people are off work and the kids are out of school. In Vegas where I live, that means the hot weather is about to depart and so it’s a sign of happiness.

I know it’s not a sign of happiness for many in healthcare that are still stuck at work. Ironically, I guess Labor Day is a day to celebrate all of you working and serving other people. So, we celebrate you today.

Nothing ever comes to one that is worth having
except as a result of hard work.
-Booker T. Washington

This is probably my favorite Labor Day quote. My kids often wonder why I make them work. This is why. The best things in life take work. That’s why my kids are one of the best things in my life.

Have a great holiday and we’ll be back with more great health IT content tomorrow!
