Changing the Patient Communication Paradigm with Nagi Prabhu from Solutionreach

The world we live in today is flush with a wide variety of communication options. I was recently talking with a 14 year old kid at church about land line telephones and how he was one of the only families that still had one. My son who is also 14 asked, “What’s a land line phone?” While communication is drastically changing, healthcare is now competing for patient’s attention as well. That’s why it’s so important that we meet the patients where they’re at and provide the communication options and engagement strategies that meet their unique preferences.

Healthcare IT Today got a chance to talk with Nagi Prabhu, Chief Product Officer at Solutionreach, to learn about how they’re working to address these challenges by helping patients more easily communicate with doctors. In our interview, Nagi shares why how he thinks healthcare communication is changing and then shares how there’s a real need to create a more patient centric communication approach.
