We’re excited to announce the launch of the Healthcare IT Podcast. For quite a while we’d been considering starting a podcast dedicated to healthcare IT innovation and we’re thrilled to finally share our first episode to the Healthcare Scene community.
As many of you know, Colin Hung and I spend a lot of time on the road attending conferences, meetups, and events where we get to talk to thousands of healthcare IT professionals every year. This provides us with some unique perspectives on the healthcare IT industry which we wanted to share.
Plus, one of our main missions at Healthcare Scene is to be able to make sure that practical healthcare innovations are getting shared as broadly as possible. That’s why we launched a healthcare IT conference focused on practical innovations and it’s why the Healthcare IT Today podcast will focus on sharing those health IT innovations as well.
In fact, that’s the topic of our first Healthcare IT Today podcast: Innovation! To kick off the first podcast, we dive into 4 challenging questions:
- Why Healthcare IT?
- What is Innovation?
- Who is Responsible for Health IT Innovation?
- Where is Innovation Happening Today?

We’re planning to release a new Healthcare IT Today podcast every ~2 weeks. Thanks to our friends at Healthcare Now Radio, you’ll be able to listen to the latest episodes of Healthcare IT Today on their radio station for the first two weeks. Then, we’ll be publishing each episode as a podcast and YouTube video here after it finishes on the radio.
As this is our first podcast, it may take a few days for your favorite platform to list Healthcare IT Today. However, we’re planning to make the podcast available on all of the following podcast platforms:
