We’re excited to share the topic and questions for this week’s #HITsm chat happening Friday, 1/4 at Noon ET (9 AM PT). This week’s chat will be hosted by John Lynn (@techguy) on the topic of “2019 New Years Predictions”.
Happy New Year to everyone in the #HITsm community. There’s something really amazing about the start of a new year. It’s a great demarkation point to be able to look at what happened in the past year and to look forward to 2019.
We’ll be doing just that in this week’s #HITsm chat. We’ll take a minute to look back at 2018 and what happened in healthcare IT in 2018. Then, we’ll all share our healthcare IT predictions for 2019. Should be fun to see what people thought was important in 2018 and also what we should be watching for in 2019.
If you’re not familiar with Twitter chats, now’s a good time to join us. The #HITsm chat happens weekly on Fridays at Noon ET (9 AM PT). All you have to do to join is to visit the #HITsm hashtag on Twitter (click that link to open it). Each week we post a topic and then the questions for that topic. Those in the community then spend an hour discussing the topic. You can read all of the responses at the link above and feel free to join in by sharing your own perspectives, ideas, and insights into the topic by including #HITsm in all of your tweets.
