Epic Beacon Senior Application Analyst – Fulltime position in beautiful southern CA
Our client, a prominent healthcare system, is in need of an experienced Clinical Application Analyst with certification and build experience in Epic Beacon.

Position responsibilities:

Function as the primary build expert to configure, build and install and support the Epic Beacon application. Perform in depth and precise investigation and documentation of future- state operational specifications and application functionality. Develop and document internal procedures, collect information and prepare specifications of system enhancements, analyze functionality in new releases and test each new release. Assist in the development of user training aids and may train end users in workflow and use of the application. Function as the primary contact to troubleshoot problems and questions from end-users during training, go-live and stabilization periods.

Required experience / skills / training:

Epic Beacon certification
Epic Beacon application build experience
Experience supporting health care electronic records related to oncology application workflows
Project management experience which includes creating business requirements, project plans, project schedules and associated project materials
Experience supporting Electronic Medical Record (EMR) / Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementations
Expert understanding of project management and project management tools
Expert understanding of software development and infrastructure project lifecycles
Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate
Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous documentation
Expert use of MS Office: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Visio
Excellent communication skills specifically related to project management strategy, schedules, tasks, deliverables, risks, and issues
