For most of our Managed Services clients, the implementation of our clients’ Electronic Health Record system (EHR) was the easy part. But now, they need to support it. That’s where we come in. We’ve designed and established an exceptional support model, and provide superior service to clients’ systems and end-users.

As Optimum Healthcare IT expands, we’re seeking the best and brightest to provide exceptional service to our clients – so they can focus on quality patient care. Our highly skilled candidates will join a team that’s combining experience and capabilities with the best the industry has to offer. As a Midwest – Based Electronic Health Record (EHR) Support Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the following:

-Traveling to attend important training sessions and meetings in Duluth, Minnesota
-Provides front-line support for end-user issues with accessing and completing services in EHR
-Use of support ticket system to document and track end-user needs and troubleshoot issues remotely or in person
-Respond to support tickets in a timely, pleasant, and supportive manner
-Triage support tickets and make appropriate referrals to next level support
-Ability to determine root cause of issue, whether hardware or software, and communicate openly with next level support
-Develop training manuals, FAQs, and other training documentation and media for distribution
-Assists in meeting with program personnel to understand future needs and assists in creating forms and reports for support service delivery and program administration, and ensures that appropriate program staff has access to and knowledge of how to run the reports.
-Collaborates with EHR support staff from client systems
-Assists with implementing functionality for new programs added to the system
