One of the biggest challenges we all face in our careers is finding the balance between work and life. In fact, many have said that work life balance is impossible and so they’ve instead espoused what they call work life integration. Opponents to this idea just see work life integration as an employer abusing their employee.
Needless to say, this is a complex issue with no easy answers. The reality is that we could spend all of our waking hours (and even those when we should be sleeping) on our work and still not be done with all we could do. The same is true for our life. We could spend all of our time living life to the fullest and still feel like there was more we could have done. What’s the solution then?
