Which Health IT Conferences Do You Attend?

The busy healthcare IT Fall conference season is upon us. It’s a real challenge to decide which conferences to attend because there are so many. I’ve told people that I could travel every day of the week to attend various healthcare IT and EHR conferences. People often ask me which events and conferences I’ll be attending. Here’s my Fall 2014 list of health IT conferences (and a few to start 2015 off right):

If you want to learn more about why I’m going to these various events, I created a page devoted to Health IT and EHR Conferences and Events. On that page I have a list of conferences I’m attending and some notes about those events. However, I also list the annual Healthcare IT and EHR conferences that people might want to consider attending. I’ll continue to update the list as I find other events that I should have added.

At the bottom of my health IT conference list is my growing list of EHR and Health IT user conferences. I’m a real fan of these events because you get a chance to sit and talk with like minded users like you. There’s nothing better you can do for your career than to stay well connected to the industry.

Those are some of my thoughts on and lists of healthcare IT conferences. How do you approach conferences? Which conferences have you found most valuable? Which conferences aren’t on my list that should be?

Side Note: If you’re going to be at one of the conferences I’m attending, I’d love to meet up with you.
