Having the best health IT job board in the industry means we get to work with a lot of amazing people and companies. It’s seriously an honor to help so many people in their job search. Not to mention helping companies “get the right people on the bus.” We just passed 12,000 active resumes in our system and over 850 registered companies. That’s amazing!
However, one of my favorite parts of Healthcare IT Central is the various healthcare informatics programs we work with. For example, we’ve worked with University of Illinois at Chicago’s (UIC) health informatics programs for a long time. Regular readers of this blog will also be familiar with Shirley Corsey and her health it school. We need great health IT programs educating the future healthcare IT leaders.
There’s a lot of ways that we get to work with these programs.
Free Resume Posting for Health Informatics Students – On Healthcare IT Central informatics students can start their health IT job search for free. After a simple registration health IT job seekers can quickly add their resume and even search and apply for the various health IT jobs we have listed. The great part about our search is that unlike the big job boards out there, we only have health IT jobs. Plus, if your resume is in our system, we have a number of companies who regularly search our resume database for qualified candidates.
Healthcare Informatics Program eNewsletter Sponsorship – One of the challenges of many healthcare informatics programs is recruiting new students. Our eNewsletter has a spot for one sponsor per newsletter and goes out to well over 16,000 healthcare IT professionals. You can see a sample eNewsletter sponsorship that UIC did with us.
Guest Student Bloggers – In the past, a number of healthcare informatics students have been guest bloggers on Healthcare IT Today. It’s a great opportunity for them to get more visibility and helps them solidify the things they’re learning with others. Check out some of their past posts here.
