It’s no secret that the demand for Healthcare IT professionals far exceeds the current supply, and this imbalance is not likely to be righted any time soon. But recruiters – a word to the wise: Before you grab your flipcam and start shooting, remember that a poorly-produced video will backfire, as candidates will come away with the impression that your firm lacks the resources to present itself professionally. Invest the resources to produce a well-crafted message, and you will shortly ask yourself why you waited so long! We’ve been using video for a couple of years and it’s been a great productivity tool on both sides of the table. We use oovoo.com and have been very pleased overall. We can have up to 6 frames/people on the screen at once, share documents – and record the interview if needed. I highly recommend video for anyone doing retained search – what a great tool! Just my two cents worth!!!
