Harris Corporation and Cancer Treatment Services International Team to Enhance Cancer Treatment and Availability

MELBOURNE, FL/PITTSBURGH, PA, February 21, 2011 – Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), is teaming  with Cancer Treatment Services International (CTSI), a leading developer, owner, and operator of outpatient cancer treatment centers, to bring high quality, cost-effective cancer care to patients in regions worldwide.

Under the agreement, Harris will serve as the exclusive technology partner for CTSI’s growing network of oncology clinics, including  a state-of-the-art facility currently under construction in Hyderabad, India.  Harris and CTSI will collaborate to develop and integrate advanced healthcare IT and clinical approaches.

CTSI, founded in 2006 by a group of Pittsburgh-based physicians and healthcare professionals, owns and operates a network of integrated cancer facilities.  CTSI’s mission is to improve access to advanced treatment modalities in regions of the world where cancer treatment options are currently inadequate or nonexistent.  CTSI is expanding its network internationally in 2011.
